Walton, country’s leading electrical, electronic goods and automobiles manufacturing company, has become the title sponsor of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) arranged a press conference at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur ahead of the Premier League which will start from Wednesday (12 April, 2017).
Md. Saiful Alam Swapon Chowdhury, Chairman of Tournament Committee, BCB, Walton Group's Senior Operative Director Uday Hakim and Senior Assistant Director Milton Ahmed were present in the conference.
Saiful Alam Swapon Chowdhury said, "Greetings to Walton for coming forward again to sponsor 'Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League'. They are sponsoring Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League 2012-13."
Walton Group’s Operative Director Uday Hakim said, "We are glad to be part of this season’s Premier League as well the upcoming season. As a power sponsor, Walton's sister concern Marcel will provide support in the league. Walton has contribution in all the local cricket tournament."
Meanwhile, he also expressed their desire to contribute more to the Bangladesh Cricket and increase their involvement at International and Domestic level.
